New Childs Balance Leathers which are 5/8″ at the narrowest and 1 1/4″ at the thickest part of the leathers. They consist of a wide beautifully soft-covered hide leather stirrup strap with a webbing core to aid the strength and durability of the leather. The 1 1/4″ wide leather gives extra comfort, and leg stability which allows close contact with the pony without twisting. They also help to alleviate leg, hip, or ankle pain by providing more support for the lower leg and should help cut down on lower leg swinging.
