These plaits are designed to fill gaps in your horse’s mane where there is not enough existing hair to plait.
First of all, you need to section the area where the plait is needed.
Use plaiting bands to hold the sections together, then slide your finger through the section under the band close to the neck to form a hole.
The false plait is then pushed through the hole and the band is slipped down to hold it in place.
Use a needle and thread and tack it to secure it in place.
